Updated NZ list? was created by Seth Gibson
Hi chaps,
just back from an amazing month in New Zealand and keen to whack up the list...but the existing list is a bit...um...crap! There seems to have been lots of taxonomic changes in the past few years. The albatrosses, kiwi and robins for starters. I see a couple other listers have already had a moan in the comments box.
Check out this site, NZs top coupla birders have put it together and it's bang up to date too.

Cheers for everything thus far, this site rocks!

Should mention that the guys who've compiled that list ask that they be emailed before using their list on any other website. Not that I don't doubt you would do so anyway, but I don't want to come across as suggesting you nick their work! See

Cheers again,

Hi Seth - thanks for checking this out (very charitable of you to go down to NZ to do the research!) I'll add it to the list of tasks, but as many of you may have noticed, updates don't get made all that rapidly these days. The time required to keep on top of this is difficult on top of everything else. Mike and I are trying to come up with some better systems to reduce the required maintenance - one day we'll crack it.
But despite the terrible service we give you all, it's still amazingly gratifying how many people use BUBO Listing. We're getting new users every day, so it's clearly not too shabby yet. Will work out a better fix one of these days, hang on in there!
Cheers
Andy

Andy, rather than adding the Wrybill tours list (which would presumably be a new authority) you could always just use the most up-to-date version of the OSNZ list. You can download it from their website, and it contains most if not all of the splits Seth is interested in. Steve
