Small glitch? I can't get this split to split on my Clements World LIfe List: the new names won't come up on the pop-up menu when I try to edit the entry.

Hi Charles
It seems to be working now: maybe a temporary blip?

Hi Mike,
For me, when I try to select for "Eurasian" rather than "Burmese", it still reads "No matching species found: you may already have added it to this list".
PS: It also says "You have 2 lists with taxonomic updates that you need to address" but only one (Clements World Life) is highlighted in my list of lists.
What could I be doing wrong?
Thanks again for your time,
Charles

Hmm, I don't think you are doing anything wrong. Something odd is happening with your list! More later...

Thanks, MIke! By the way, that problem with the two Collared-doves is the only one I encountered. My other 35 updates went just fine.
(And now it occurs to me that "Australasian Pipit" didn't go well at first because it is "Australian Pipit" in your database. I don't know which is the correct name, sorry.)

Good morning, MIke,
I successfully updated to Eurasian Collared Dove by selecting directly from the scrolling master list, but My Lists still highlights my Clements World List; I don't know if that's important.

I expect you still have the "old" taxon for one of the splits on your list, as well as having added the newly split ones. if you view pending taxonomic updates when you view your list it should show there.
Oh, and I missed the Australian Pipit query. This is correct: Australasian Pipit has been split into Australian Pipit and New Zealand Pipit.

Thanks very much, Mike!
("Pending taxonomic updates"—I'd forgotten about that button. I've been scrolling through the whole durn list.)
