Missing species on transfer to Clements

Missing species on transfer to Clements was created by Brian Shapley
I have just started putting my world list on to bubo.org from my Clements 'Checklist of the Birds of the World', but inadvertently I started using the IOC list. I have converted it to Clements, but quite a few species are missing now (eg. Eurasian Teal, Mallard). They are listed in the Clements book, and the scientific names are the same.
Why is this, and what can I do to put things right?
I am not computer literate, and the above has left me wondering if it something I have done wrong.

Hi Brian
It's because the taxonomies differ, so you will "lose" some species when copying a list between authorities and will have to add the appropriate ones back. See www.bubo.org/News/taxonomic-updates-in-bubo-listing.html for more details.
